Note: The final drive planetary has three plugs. Position the final drive with plug (1) at the top of the drive.
Remove drain plug (3) and allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
Clean plug (3) and install the plug.
Remove plug (1) and plug (2). Fill the final drive planetary with lube oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricant Viscosities" and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Capacities (Refill)" for the type of lube oil and the quantity of lube oil. Allow the machine to sit for 45 minutes.Note: Wait for approximately 45 minutes in order to allow fluid to fill the rear bearing. Failure to wait for 45 minutes could result in bearing failure.
Fill the final drive planetary with oil up to the bottom of the hole for plug (2) .
Clean plugs (1) and (2).
Install plugs (1) and (2) .
