The engine has been running more than three minutes. This three minute delay begins once the engine speed is within 50 rpm of the low idle setting.
Air inlet temperature is greater than 79 °C (174 °F) for more than four seconds.
172-03 Intake Manifold Air Temp open/short to +batt is not active.
172-04 Intake Manifold Air Temp short to ground is not active. 3406E Engine

The ECM will transmit a warning to the display in the cab. The ECM will reset the warning when the air inlet temperature is less than 73 °C (163 °F) for more than four seconds.
Low power

Connect ET to the service tool connector.
Turn the keyswitch to the ON position. The engine should be off.
