To accommodate current H Series motorgrader configurations, Bridgestone has revised tyre recommendations.Solution:
The following recommendations apply to all 12H and 140H motorgraders, fitted with Bridgestone 12ply 14.00x24 or 12ply 17.5x25 tyres, operating within Australia.These revised recommendations allow a maximum tyre load of 3250kg. The 3250kg maximum tyre load provides for both the machine weight (with any combination of OEM attachments) as shipped from Caterpillar of Australia, Melbourne, and an allowance of 100kg per rear tyre for dealer fitted attachments. A Tyre size: 14.00x24 12P/R G-2 T/L (12 Ply Rating)1. For existing in service 14.00x24 12P/R G-2 T/L tyres, the following application procedure should be followed:i. Increase the 14.00x24 12P/R G-2 T/L inflation pressure from 36psi / 250Kpa to 40psi / 275Kpa (nitrogen inflation).2. When the 12ply tyres are due for replacement the following should apply:i. Replace with 14.00x24 14P/R G-2 T/L.ii. Nitrogen inflate to 44psi / 300Kpa. B Tyre size: 17.5x25 12P/R G-2 T/L (12 Ply Rating)1. For existing in service 17.5x25 12P/R G-2 T/L tyres, the following application procedure should be followed:i. Increase the 17.5x25 12P/R G-2 T/L inflation pressure from 29psi / 200Kpa to 40psi / 275Kpa (nitrogen inflation).2. When the 12 ply tyres are due for replacement, the following should apply:i.
