Open access panel (6). Remove bolts from access panel (7) .
Repeat Step 3 in order to open the access panels on the other side of the machine.

Remove hose assembly (8) from air cleaner indicator (9) .
Attach a suitable lifting device and suitable lifting slings to hood assembly (5). Remove bolts and remove the hood assembly from the machine. The weight of the hood assembly is approximately 104 kg (230 lb).

Remove bolts (11) and bracket (10) .

Loosen the clamp and remove tube (17) from turbocharger (16) .
Remove clamp (22) .
Loosen fitting (20). Remove bolts (19), the gasket, and tube (21) .
Remove the bolts, the two gaskets, and tube assembly (23) .
Attach a suitable lifting device and a suitable lifting sling to turbocharger (16). Remove bolts (18), the gasket, and the turbocharger from the engine. The weight of the turbocharger is approximately 37 kg (80 lb).Installation Procedure

Attach a suitable lifting device and a suitable lifting sling to turbocharger (16). Install the gasket, the turbocharger, and bolts (18). The weight of the turbocharger is approximately 37 kg (80 lb).
Install the gaskets, tube assembly (23), and the bolts.
Install the gasket, tube (21), and bolts (19). Tighten fitting (20) .
Install clamp (22) .
Install tube (17) on turbocharger (16) and tighten the clamp.

Attach a suitable lifting device and suitable lifting straps to hood assembly (5). Install the hood assembly on the machine and install the bolts. The weight of the hood is approximately 104 kg (230 lb).
Install hose assembly (8) on air cleaner indicator (9) .
Close access panel (7) and install the bolts. Close access panel (6) .
Repeat Step 11 in order to close the access panels on the other side.

Install precleaner assembly (1) and tighten clamp (4) .
Install hose assembly (3) and tighten clamp (2) .End By: Install the muffler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Muffler - Remove and Install".
