Loosen V-band clamps (14) and (16) enough in order to allow compressor housing (13) and bearing housing (15) to rotate. Note: Excessive loosening of the housings will cause contact and possible damage to the wheel can occur.
Position bearing housing (15), as shown in Illustration 2, with the oil supply and drain in the vertical position with reference to the engine.
Position V-band clamp (14) on the outboard side of the turbocharger, as shown in Illustration 2.
Tighten V-band clamp (16) enough to prevent bearing housing (15) from rotating.
Position compressor housing (13), as shown in Illustration 3, with the air outlet at a 20° angle pointing downward and inboard from engine vertical.
Tighten V-band clamps (14), (16), and (5) to a torque of 14.0 1.2 N m (124.00 10.62 lb in).
Tap V-band clamps (14), (16), and (5) lightly all around. Retighten V-band clamps (14), (16), and (5) to a torque of 14.0 1.2 N m (124.00 10.62 lb in).

Install tube assembly (10).

Connect hose assembly (9).

Install tube assembly (6) and clamps (8). Install hose (7).

Install elbow (4). Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 7.5 1.0 N m (66.38 8.85 lb in). Install tube assembly (1) and tighten clamps (2) to a torque of 7.5 1.0 N m (66.38 8.85 lb in).
Steps 16 through 29 are for the installation of the turbocharger on the LEFT SIDE OF THE MACHINE.

Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (17). The weight of turbocharger (17) is approximately 29 kg (65 lb). Use the suitable lifting device in order to position turbocharger (17) to the machine.
Install new nuts (18). Tighten nuts (18) to a torque of 54 5 N m (40 5 lb ft).

Position bearing housing (21), as shown in Illustration 9, with the oil supply and drain in the vertical position with reference to the engine.
Tighten V-band clamp (20) enough to prevent bearing housing (21) from rotating.
Position V-band clamp (22) on the bottom side of the turbocharger, as shown in Illustration 9.
Position housing (23), as shown in Illustration 10, with the air outlet at a 35° angle pointing downward and outboard from engine vertical.
Tighten V-band clamp (22) enough to prevent compressor housing (23) from rotating.
Tighten V-band clamps (19), (20), and (22) to a torque of 14.0 1.2 N m (124.00 10.62 lb in).
Tap V-band clamps (19), (20), and (22) lightly all around. Retighten V-band clamps (19), (20), and (22) to a torque of 14.0 1.2 N m (124.00 10.62 lb in).
