Installation Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

Fasten a hoist to tilt cylinder (2) .
Put tilt cylinder (2) into position on the push arm and install pin (5) .
Install pin (4) and the cotter pin.
Put the rod assembly into position against the bulldozer blade trunnion ball.Note: Install an equal amount of shims on each side of the cap in order to obtain a 0.3 mm (.010 inch) to 0.8 mm (.030 inch) clearance between the cap and the trunnion ball.
Put the shims and cap (7) into position. Install bolts (6) and the nuts.

Connect hose assemblies (3) to tilt cylinder (2) .

Put guard (1) into position and install the bolts.
Fill the implement hydraulic system. Refer to the appropriate Operation and Maintenance Manual for the correct procedure.
