Put identification marks on all hose assemblies, tube assemblies and wire harnesses for installation purposes. Plug and cap all connections in order to prevent contamination.

Make sure that the draft frame is securely placed on suitable jack stands before the draft frame is removed from the scraper bowl.

Disconnect two hose assemblies (1) from tube assemblies (2) .

Disconnect three hose assemblies (3), (4) and (5) from the tube assemblies.

Loosen two screws (6) that secure wire harness (7) to light (8). Disconnect wire harness (7) from light (8) .

Remove bolt (9), the washer, and the clip that secures wire harness (7) to the draft frame.

Remove bolt (10), the washer, and the clip that secures wire harness (7) to the draft frame.

Remove two bolts (11), the washers, and the clips that secure wire harness (7) to the draft frame.

Remove nut (12), the washer, and the clip that secures wire harness (7) to the draft frame.

Disconnect two hose assemblies (13) from tube assemblies (14) .

Disconnect three hose assemblies (15), (16) and (17) from the tube assemblies.

Use a soft faced hammer to install pin (18) to the draft frame. Install bar (19), the washers and two bolts (20) that secure pin (18) to the draft frame. Repeat the procedure for the other side.

Attach three nylon lifting straps and a hoist to the draft frame, as shown.

Remove two bolts (21) that secure cap (22) to the draft frame. Remove cap (22) from the draft frame. Remove the draft frame from the scraper bowl. The draft frame weighs 2268 kg (5000 lb).
