Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the hood.

Remove clamp (3) and pipe (1). Remove clamps (4) and bellows (2). Disconnect sensors (5) .

Disconnect harness assemblies (6) .

Remove sensor (8). Remove clip (7). Repeat for opposite side.

Attach a suitable lifting device to clean emissions module (9). The weight of clean emissions module (9) is approximately 23 kg (50 lb). Remove pins (10). Disconnect bands (11). Remove clean emissions module (9) .Installation Procedure
Install clean emissions module (9) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft). Ensure that the clamp gap is not aligned with the slots in the pipe (1).
Tighten clamps (4) to a torque of 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft). Use a suitable hammer to seat the clamp, then torque the clamp (4) to a torque of 47 5 N m (35 4 lb ft).
