Harness connection behind the operator's compartment (1) 165-4894 Harness (2) 186-3362 Harness (3) 3S-2093 Cable Strap
Insert the connector plug for the 186-3362 Harness (2) into the receptacle for the 165-4894 Harness (1). Secure this harness connection to the cab harness with a cable strap (3). See Illustration 4.Note: The cab harness is located on the left side of the machine directly behind the operator's compartment.

Route harness (2) along the cab harness to the back of the operator's compartment. Then route harness (2) down the back wall and under the cab floor. Secure harness (2) to the existing harnesses with cable straps (3). See Illustration 5.

Continue to route harness (2) under the cab floor to the right edge of the cab floor. Then direct the harness to the right wall of the operator's compartment. Secure harness (2) to the existing wiring under the seat with cable straps (3). See Illustration 6.

Route the harness to the right wall of the operator's compartment and secure the extra length of harness behind the seat with cable straps.

Installation of the rocker switch in the left hand control panel (F) 142-8633 Rocker Switch
Test the power source.
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position.
Push the bottom of rocker switch (F) in order to energize the auxiliary electrical control circuit.
Measure the voltage at the receptacle for harness (2). The voltage should be 12 VDC.Note: If no voltage is measured, check the fuse, the rocker switch, and the harness connections.
Ensure that the polarity of the voltage is correct.Note: Failure to observe the correct polarity of the voltage between the host machine and the snowblower will result in a blown fuse and/or damage to the electrical components. See Table 2.

Connection of the control device to the harness
Connect the control device by inserting the connector plug for the control device into the receptacle for harness (2). See Illustration 9.
Install 261-8487 Bracket (4) on the door latch at the right hand side.
Mount the control device to the bracket.
Push the bottom of rocker switch (F) in order to energize the auxiliary electrical control circuit.

The work tool's harness will connect to the machine's harness at this location.
