1. Disconnect speed sensor wiring harness (1).2. Loosen locking nut (3) on speed sensor (2). Remove speed sensor (2) from flywheel housing (4). The following steps are to install the speedometer/tachometer.3. Install speed sensor (2) to flywheel housing (4).4. Adjust the speed sensor as follows:a. Adjust the magnet core in the housing until it abuts the tooth of the flywheel gear.b. Then back the magnet core out 1.2 0.1 turns.c. Tighten the locknut to a torque of 45 7 N m (33 5 lb ft).d. The clearance between the flywheel and the magnet core should be between 1.55 and 1.83 mm (.061 and .072 in).5. Connect speed sensor wiring harness (1).
