PROBLEM
The existing welding between the top plate and ring of the carbody can crack on certain 390D and 390F Excavators.

ACTION REQUIRED
Repair the cracks. Extend the bolt holes for the swing bearing on the carbody. Fasten the swing bearing with new longer 532-8316 Bolts.
Refer to the M0084381, Special Instruction, "Rework Procedure of Carbody at Ring/Top Plate Junction for Certain 390D and 390F Excavators, Mobile Hydraulic Power Units, and OEM Excavator Based Specialty Solutions", to complete this Rework Procedure.
Replace the swing gear spacers if there are worn or damaged.
