Remove the clamp from the muffler. Remove the muffler. Remove the old exhaust pipe at the exhaust manifold.
Before you install the new 204-6911 Exhaust Pipe, extend the pipe to the mid point of the flexible travel. This will allow the flex section to absorb movement in both forward and rear directions. Measure distance (A) in order to determine the mid point. Distance (A) should be 250 mm (10 inch).
Position a new 6I-4039 Gasket to flange (3) .
Mount 204-6911 Exhaust Pipe (4) to the manifold.
Install the muffler (1), along with new 8I-5743 Seal Clamp (2). Ensure equal clearance between the radiator and chassis before securing the seal clamp bolts.Note: Look at the TOP VIEW. Please notice that the flex portion of the new exhaust pipe does not have any curve to it. The flex portion of the pipe is installed correctly when the tube is straight.
