PROBLEM
Certain 243-3820 Cat Messenger Display Groups need to be removed from dealer parts stock. These display groups are for use in certain 3126B, C7, C9, C-9, C-10, C11, C-12, C13, C15, C-15, C-16, C18, 3412E, C27, and C32 Industrial Engine applications. These Cat Messenger display groups may have been programmed with the incorrect software that can cause incorrect button operation.
ACTION REQUIRED
Remove all 243-3820 Cat Messenger Display Groups that do not have the WHITE paint dot on the back of the display near the connector as shown in the image below.
Note: Most of the displays will have a RED paint dot but only those with a WHITE paint dot have the correct software.
