The signal from the throttle switch is invalid.System Response:The Electronic Control Module (ECM) will log the diagnostic code. The diagnostic code may be viewed on a display module or on the Caterpillar Electronic Technician (ET).Possible Performance Effect: The desired engine speed is set to 1000 rpm, unless the actual engine speed is below 1000 rpm. If the actual engine speed is below 1000 rpm, the desired engine speed is set to the current engine speed. If the signal from the throttle switch becomes valid, the desired engine speed will be set to the actual engine speed and the diagnostic code will deactivate.Troubleshooting:Test Step 1.
