POPPET 1214806 - Caterpillar

1. Remove hinged cover to gain access to the lower engine compartment. 2. Open hood.3. Attach a hoist to lifting eyes to support the engine.4. Loosen two wire clamps (1).5. Disconnect muffler drain hoses (7).6. Remove mounting bolt (2).7. Remove washer (3).8. Remove mount (4) (not shown). A muffler drain line bracket bolt (5) mounted on the right hand rear support will have to be removed before the support can be removed.9. Remove four bolts (8).10. Remove support (6). Repeat Steps 6 through 10 for other side of engine support (rear) if necessary. For installation of the engine supports (rear), reverse the removal steps.
