Relieve jacks with blocks.Make sure that the necessary safety regulations are observed when working near highly inflammable materials.Make sure there is a serviceable fire extinguisher at hand with which you are familiar.Proceed with great care and forethought when inspections and adjustments are possible only in the vicinity of moving parts (e.g. shafts, belt drives, etc.). The same applies to trial runs.Do not work on the hydraulic system if it is under pressure or if the engine is running.Where it is necessary to work on raised equipment make sure that this is securely supported. Avoid oblique positions of the lifting equipment or supports since this can lead to accidents.Be sure to read and understand the operation and maintenance instructions, which advise how to operate and handle the machine and attachments safely.
