(1) SCR mixing tube
(2) 465-6887 Hose Assembly (DEF return hose from DEF injector to DEF Tank)
(3) 465-6885 Hose Assembly (DEF delivery hose from DEF pump to DEF injector)
Locate and identify Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) mixing tube (1) from the rear of the machine. Inspect hose (2) and hose (3). The hoses are located at the left-hand side of the engine compartment. Ensure that the hoses have not been burnt or damaged. If damage is found, replace the hoses. Refer to Illustrations 2 and 3 for possible damage locations.

Use a 7K-1181 Cable Strap to secure the hoses away from the SCR tube.Harness Clamping
Raise the cab to access the after treatment harness. Refer to the applicable Disassembly and Assembly manual for instructions.

Inspect after treatment harness (4) along the affected areas shown in Illustrations 4 and 5. If any damage is found, repair or replace the harness.

Clamp the harness as shown in Illustration 6.
Inspect the heater core enclosure for damage. Repair or replace as necessary.
Lower the cab.
