(4) Spring housing (6) Screw (7) DetentThe ejector kickout is in the end of the ejector valve stem in the main control valve.Do the following procedures in order to check the pressure of the ejector kickout.
Remove plug (2) .
Install 8T-0859 Pressure Gauge with 8L-6557 Connector, 6V-3081 Hose Assembly, 5P-3501 Adapter and 4M-5317 Terminal Bushing at plug (2) .
Start the engine. Move the ejector control lever to the EJECT position for two or three seconds.
Increase the rpm of the engine and look at the oil pressure gauge when the ejector control lever moves to the RETURN (detent) position. The high pressure reading that is shown on the pressure gauge is reading the pressure of the ejector control lever when the ejector control lever is moved to the HOLD position. The correct setting for the ejector kickout is 10350 700 kPa (1501 102 psi).
If it is necessary to change the pressure setting of the ejector kickout, remove plug (5) from the spring housing (4) on the end of the ejector valve stem.
Use a hex wrench through the hole at plug (5) after removal of plug (5). Turn screw (6) that is in detent (7) on the end of the ejector valve stem. Turn the screw counterclockwise in order to decrease the pressure setting of the ejector kickout. Turn the screw clockwise in order to increase the pressure setting of the ejector kickout. One half turn of the screw changes the pressure setting approximately 930 kPa (135 psi).
Replace plug (5). Remove the pressure gauge and bushing assembly. Install plug (2) .
