POWER SHIFT TRANSMISSION ARRANGEMENT 1P5265 - Caterpillar

* Four heavy duty bosses on the coupler engage the bucket hinges. * Two heavy springs maintain a tapered locking wedge and the bucket in a fail-safe locked position. * The hydraulic cylinder, that disengages the locking wedge against the spring force, is placed between the two links of the coupler assembly. This cylinder is activated with a key switch, located on the console behind the operator's right side.* Turn the switch to the right into it's first position. A buzzer will sound. Turn the switch further to the right into it's second position to disengage the wedge. * Once the bosses on the coupler have engaged the bucket hooks, the locking wedge can be released. Turn the console switch leftone step to release the wedge. Turn the switch left one more step to the "wedge locked" position to turn off the buzzer.
