(1) Relief valve (charge pressure)Relief valve (charge pressure) (1) is on the top of the transmission next to the clutch 1 and clutch 2 solenoids.Relief valve (charge pressure) receives oil from the transmission oil filter. The valve regulates the maximum hydraulic system pressure. From the relief valve (charge pressure), oil is directed to the clutch circuit and to the torque converter circuit.For pressure values, refer to Testing and Adjusting , "Transmission Pressures - Test".Relief Valve (Torque Converter)
