Install camshaft drive gear (1). Ensure that the "C" label on the crankshaft gear is in alignment with the "C" label on camshaft drive gear (1).
Install the four bolts that hold camshaft drive gear (1).

Use Tooling (A) in order to install the bearing in idler gear (2).

Place idler gear (2) in position on shaft (3). Place the machined side of the plate toward the gear. Fasten the place with two bolts.

Place magneto drive gear (4) in position over magneto drive shaft (5).
Install the washer with the chamfered edge away from the gear. Fasten the washer with the bolt. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 150 7 N m (110 5 lb ft). End By:
Install the timing gear cover. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Timing Gear Cover - Remove and Install" for the engine that is being serviced.
