Most multimeters have a battery life of 200 hours. This means 10 less battery replacements are necessary with the Caterpillar meter.If you have the former 6V3030 Multimeter, a 6V7803 fused 10 Amp Current Lead is now available and should be used whenever you use the 10 amp Input Connector on the front panel. This fused lead protects the meter and the operator against current overload. Special Instruction SEHS7734-01 has instructions on the use of these multimeters.
