Start By:a. remove pump gearboxb. remove deck 1. Remove covers (1). 2. Remove battery (2) and battery box (3).
At operating temperature, the engine coolant is hot and under pressure. Steam can cause personal injury. Do not remove the fill cap until the engine is stopped and the fill cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. The cooling system conditioner contains alkali. Avoid contact with the skin and eyes to prevent personal injury.
3. Drain the radiator. The capacity of the radiator is 31.7 liter (8.4 U.S. gal). 4. Remove radiator hoses (4) and fan guard (5). Remove cover (6) from the linear actuator.5. Remove wires (7) from the fuel solenoid and wires (8) from the oil pressure sender. 6. Remove wires (9) from the water temperature sender. Remove wires (10) from the alternator. 7. Remove fuel line (12). Remove wires (11) from the linear actuator.8. Remove wire (13) from the oil pressure switch. Remove the wire from the thermo start switch (Located on top of the exhaust manifold).9. Remove all wire ties and clamps as necessary to get the wiring away from the engine.10. Drain the oil from the engine. The capacity is 18.9 liter (5 U.S. gal). Remove the oil drain line. 11. Remove wiring (16) from the starter. Remove fuel line (15).12. Remove air intake tube (14). Remove engine mount bolts (17). 13. Attach a lifting device to tool (A) and attach tool (A) to engine lifting eyes (19).14. Lift the engine just enough to move the engine away from fan shroud (18). When clearance is obtained, lift the engine out of the engine compartment. The weight of the engine is 570 kg (1200 lb).
