The oscillation stops are made and installed as follows:
1. Make four of the stop plates as shown in Illustrations 1 and 2. Illustration 1 is for the D6C and D6D Tractors while Illustration 2 shows the stop plate for the D6C and D6D LGP Tractors.

Illustration 2. Details to fabricate oscillation stop plates for D6C and D6D LGP Tractors.2. The sleeves must be made from two 7H3577 Sleeves. The 7H3577 Sleeves are 228.6 mm (9.00") long. They must be machined on both ends to the dimension shown in Illustration 3.3. Lift the right end of the equalizer bar until it is in contact with the saddle and main frame.
Illustration 3. Dimension to machine ends of 7H3577 Sleeve.4. Remove enough of the crankcase guard to permit installation of two stop plates and one sleeve on the left end of the saddle. It may be necessary to move the reinforcement plates (gussets) on the inside of some crankcase guards. See Illustration 4.5. Adjust the height of the stop plates on the saddle to give 3.18 mm (0.125") clearance between the bottom of the equalizer bar and the sleeve. See Illustration 4.6. Weld the plates to the saddle in this position.
Illustration 4. End view of saddle with parts installed.7. Raise the other end of the equalizer bar until it makes contact with the saddle and main frame on the left side. Do Steps 4 through 6 to install the oscillation stop on the right side.
