10. Fasten a hoist to the ripper control valve. Remove bolts (13) that hold bracket (16) in place.11. Remove the bolts that hold the ripper control valve bracket (15) in place. Move ripper control valve (14) and bracket (15) to the right side of the machine.12. Use tooling (B) as shown to hold ripper control valve (14) and bracket (15) to the right side of the machine. If necessary remove clamps (12) under the fuel tank to move the ripper control valve and bracket over. 13. Remove the bolts that hold block (20) to cover (17). Remove the bolts that hold cover (17) to the transmission. Remove cover (17).14. Remove block (20) and tubes (19) from the hydraulic control valves. Remove tubes (19) from block (20). Remove O-ring seals (18) from tubes (19). 15. Remove cotter pins (23) and pins (24) that hold linkages (22) to the priority valve.16. Remove four bolts (21) and remove linkages (22) from the transmission. Not all the bolts can be installed in cover (17) when it is installed in the backward position.17. Put cover (17) in position as shown on the transmission. Install as many as bolts as possible. 18. Fasten a hoist to cover (17). The weight of the transmission and bevel gears is 1247 Kg (2750 lb.).
Do not remove bolts (26). These bolts hold the transmission and bevel gears together as a unit.
Do not stand behind the transmission and bevel gears as they are removed. Personal injury can be the result.
