There have isolated instances of oil leak from the turbochargers on C6.6 engines. To eliminate the oil leak, an improved turbocharger is available.The oil leak can occur on the part numbers that have certain date codes. Refer to table 1. Turbochargers with different part numbers or date codes are not subject to this problem.

Typical exampleAn explanation of the date code is described below:The first two digits are equal to the day of the month. For example, 29 means the 29th day.The letter represents the month.
H is equal to August.
I is equal to September.
J is equal to October.
K is equal to November.The last two digits represent the year. 07 means 2007.Turbochargers with the date code 28K07 and later date codes contain the improvement. These turbochargers are not subject to the problem of oil leaks.
