Remove And Install Steering Clutch Hydraulic Control Valve
start by:a) remove floor platesb) remove fuel tank 1. Disconnect four tubes (2) from steering clutch control valve (3).2. Remove two steering clutch control rods (1) from the steering clutch control valve. 3. Remove eight bolts (4) and remove the steering clutch control valve. Remove five O-ring seals. 4. Install five O-ring seals (5) on the bevel gear case. Install the steering control valve with eight bolts. 5. Connect four tubes (2) to the steering clutch control valve.6. Install two steering clutch control rods (1) on the steering clutch control valve.Disassemble Steering Clutch Hydraulic Control Valve
start by:a) remove steering clutch hydraulic control valve 1. Remove five bolts (1) and make a separation of housings (2) and (3).
Spring force is on plugs (4).
2. Install a 3/8"-16 NC forged eyebolt in plugs (4) as shown. Use the eyebolt to push the plug toward the inside of the housing and remove retainer ring (5). Remove the plugs from the housing and remove the O-ring seal from each plug. 3. Remove two springs (6) and two valve assemblies (7) from the housing. 4. Remove retainer ring (10), washer (9), spring (8) and piston (11) from each valve (7).
Spring force is on bushing (12).
5. Put identification on the plungers for correct assembly. Remove bolt (13), bushings (12) and plungers (14) from the housing. Remove two springs and washers from the housing. 6. Remove two bolts (16) and levers (15) from the shafts. Remove two keys from the shafts. 7. Remove bolt (19) from lever (17). Hit the end of shaft (18) in toward the housing to remove the plug from the end of the housing. Remove the key and retainer ring from shaft (18). Remove the shaft, lever and washer from the housing. 8. Remove bolt (23) from lever (20). Hit the end of shaft (22) in toward the housing to remove the plug in the end of the housing. Remove the key from the shaft. Remove shaft (22), lever (20) and washer (21) from the housing. 9. Remove two seals (25) from the housing. 10. Remove four bearings (24) from the housing with tooling (A).Assemble Steering Clutch Hydraulic Control Valve
1. Install four bearings in housing (1) with tooling (A). Install the bearings until they are even with the bottom of the seal or plug counterbore. 2. Install two lip type seals in the housing with tooling (A) until the seal makes contact with the bottom of the seal counterbore. Install the seals with the seal lip toward the inside of the housing. Put a light layer of SAE 30 oil on the seal lip. 3. Install shaft (5) in housing (1), washer (4) and lever (3) until key (2) can be installed in the shaft. Pull the shaft out of the housing until the key is in the center of the lever. Install bolt (6) which holds lever (3) on shaft (5). 4. Install shaft (9) in housing (1), lever (8) and washer (10). Install
