Assembly Procedure
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before assembly, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble. Inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement. All disassembly and all assembly procedures must be performed on a clean work surface and in a clean hydraulic area. Keep cleaned parts covered and protected at all times.Note: O-rings, gaskets, and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring. Use 1U-6396 O-Ring Assembly Compound during the assembly procedure.Note: Apply a light film of hydraulic oil to all components before assembly.

Install two O-ring seals (16) into the valve body.

Install two bolts and nuts (15) .

Install spring (11), regulator (12), O-ring seal (13), and plunger (14) .
Repeat Step 3 in order to complete installation of the other ports.Note: The plungers that are located at the front of the valve body have a pin.

Install lever (10) .

Install retaining pin (9) .

Install plate (8). Install screws and washers (7) .Note: Screws should be positioned at the top of the slots which are located in the plate.
Repeat Step 5 through Step 7 in order to install the other lever kit.

Install lever kit (4) and plate (5) on the valve body.
Repeat Step 9 for the other lever kit.

Install four screws (3) in order to retain the lever kits.

Install bracket (2) onto the pilot valve.
Install two bolts and washers (1) into bracket (2) .
Repeat Step 13 for the other side of bracket (2) .End By: Install the pilot valve (stabilizer) in the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Pilot Valve (Stabilizer) - Install" in this manual.
