(10) Main control valve When the pressure that acts on the relief valve at port "T" (9) on main control valve (10) exceeds 550 kPa (80 psi) due to a plugged oil cooler or cold oil, the relief valve opens. The hydraulic oil bypasses oil cooler (1). The hydraulic oil passes through return oil filter (6) and into hydraulic tank (5).

(13) Fan motor The one-piece radiator group consists of three radiator sections, one for each of the following:
Charge air
Engine coolant
Hydraulic oilHydraulic oil cooler (1) is the forward most section.The fan system is used to cool all three radiator sections.Fan hydraulic pump (11) for fan motor (13) is mounted to the front engine housing on the left side of the engine. Fan hydraulic pump (11) is a variable piston pump.Fan (12) is driven by fan motor (13). Fan motor (13) is a single-section gear motor.Fan speed is controlled by the engine ECM.
