A 5P-3975 Rubber Lubricant -
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Loosen clamp (1) and clamp (3). Remove breather assembly (2).
Remove bolts (5), valve cover (4), and the O-ring seal.
Disconnect harness assemblies (7) from valve cover base (6). Remove bolts (8), valve cover base (6), and the O-ring seal. Installation Procedure
Install valve cover base (6) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (A) to the O-ring seal for breather assembly (2).
Tighten clamp (3) to a torque of 5.0 0.5 N m (44 4 lb in).
