1. Loosen the bolts on the belt adjustment bracket (2) and remove belts (4) from the pulley.2. Remove bolts (3) from the pulley. Remove pulley (1) from the vibration damper adapter. 3. Remove bolts (5) from vibration damper (6).4. Remove the vibration damper and adapter as a unit. Remove the adapter from the vibration damper.Install Vibration Damper And Pulley
1. Install adapter (2) in vibration damper (1). Put the adapter and vibration damper as a unit in position on the crankshaft.2. Install the bolts that hold the vibration damper to the crankshaft.3. Put the pulley in position on the vibration damper adapter. Install the bolts that hold it to the adapter.4. Install the belts on the vibration damper pulley and belt tightener idler pulley. Make belt adjustment so movement (deflection) is 7/8 in. (22.2 mm) under 25 lb. (11.3 kg) force halfway between pulleys.5. Tighten the 5/8" diameter bolt on the belt tightener bracket to a torque of 75 10 lb.ft. (100 14 N m). Tighten the 1/2" diameter bolt to a torque of 40 5 lb.ft. (55 7 N m).
