Dirt can damage precision made parts of the motor. Disassemble the motor on a clean work surface. Clean all the parts separately in clean solvent and let the parts dry at room temperature. Check the condition of all parts and refer to Guideline For Reusable Parts, Piston Pumps And Motors, Form No. SEBF8032-01 as a guide for reconditioning and determining the reusability of parts.
1. Remove the eight bolts, and remove end cover (7) from housing (1).2. Remove control lens (5) from end cover (7). 3. Remove plug (13), throttle screw (16), throttle pin (17) and throttle screw (19) from end cover (7). Remove the O-ring seal from plug (1). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.4. Remove plug (14), throttle screw (18), throttle pin (20) and throttle screw (21) from end cover (7). Remove the O-ring seal from plug (14). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.5. Remove plug (15), throttle screw (23), check valve shuttle (24) and throttle screw (25) from the end cover. Remove the O-ring seal (22) from plug (15). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary. 6. Remove swivel trunnion (35) from stroking piston (38).7. Remove plug (36), and remove stroking piston (38), from the end cover (7). Remove the O-ring seal (37) from plug (36). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.8. Remove plug (26), spring (28), and spool (29) from the end cover (7). Remove O-ring seal (27) from plug (26). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.9. Remove plug (31) from the end cover (7). Remove O-ring seal (30) from plug (31). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.10. Remove retaining ring (32), and remove control bushing (33) from the end cover.11. If necessary, remove two dowel pins (34) from and cover (7). For assembly purposes, measure the distance from the end of minimum displacement adjustment screw (2) and maximum displacement adjustment screw (11) to housing (1) before removing the adjustment screws.12. Loosen nut (3), and remove minimum displacement adjustment screw (2) from housing (1).13. Loosen nut (12), and remove maximum displacement adjustment screw (11) from housing (1).14. Remove O-ring seal (6) from housing (1). Check the O-ring seal for wear or damage and replace if necessary.15. Remove retaining ring (8), shim (9) and shaft seal (10) from housing (1). 16. Remove cylinder block (47), spring (43) and spring collar (46) from pistons (44) and center pin (40). The spring and spring collar will remain in the center hole of the cylinder block. 17. Position housing (1) in a press as shown. Use the press to remove rotating group (4) from housing (1). To prevent damage to pistons (44) and shaft assembly (39), support the shaft assembly inside the housing while it is being removed.18. Remove 14 screws (42), and remove seven pistons (44), center pin (40) and retaining plate (45)
