Fixture (B) is a 5S-7040 Body that has been altered to be a fixture for drilling oil holes.
Drill six 4.78 mm (0.18819 inch) diameter oil holes in the new bearing using fixture (B) as a drill fixture to locate the holes.
Drill one 4.78 mm (0.18819 inch) diameter oil hole into the new bearing through any one of the six holes in fixture (B).
Insert a 4.78 mm (0.18819 inch) diameter pin or drill bit into the hole to keep the bearing from moving while drilling the remaining holes.
Drill the remaining five holes.

Use a drill bit to keep the bearing from moving while drilling the remaining holes.
Remove the drilled bearing from fixture (B). (Use the 1P-0464 Plate, 1P-0529 Handle, and 6L-5897 Bolt from the 1P-0500 Drive Group or 1P-0510 Driver Group.)

Bearing Installation
Remove the drive gear and all of the stops, spools, spacers, and retaining rings from the governor group (see Service Manual module, Disassembly, and Assembly of Power Train).Note: Do not mix the stops, spools, and spacers. Stops, spools, and spacers must go back into the same holes from where they were found.
Carefully heat the governor body to approximately 95°C (200°F) with a torch. Remove and discard the worn 8P-2722 Bearing and 9S-5214 Bearing.
To prevent personal injury, wear insulated gloves to handle hot governor body during disassembly, deburring, and assembly.

Carefully deburr the oil holes in the governor body bore.
Install locator ring assembly (4) onto the governor housing. Be sure that the short end of the locator ring assembly locator dowel is positioned in line with the governor body "C" bore. Gently tighten the locator ring lock bolt. (The letters A, B, and C are cast on the three bores of the 5S-7040 Body).

Heat the governor body to approximately 95°C (200°F) with a bearing heater.
Place the new 8P-2722 Bearing that was drilled in Step 2 on driver (2). Be sure that the correct hold in the bearing locates on the ball in the driver to assure that the bearing joint is positioned between the "C" and "A" bores. Align the driver and locator ring locating dowel and drive, or press, the new bearing into the governor until the driver can go no further ("bottoms" on the locator ring).

Driver (2) is used to orient the drilled bearing and to press the bearing to the correct depth.
Allow the housing to cool to room temperature and pack all the holes in the bore with grease, including the valve spool ports. Doing so will keep chips from the next operation out of the hard to clean passages in the body.
Ream the bearing bore to 25.408 mm (1.002"). Polish the bore to the finished size of 25.413 0.008 mm (1.0005 .0003") with
