Information:

Instruction to Troubleshoot Engine Oil Pressure Switch
If the engine oil level is correct
Check if the harness connector for the engine oil pressure switch is loose or disconnected. The harness connector is mounted on the engine block.
If the harness connector is loose or disconnected, tighten or connect the harness connector. Check if the warning message has been displayed when starting up the engine. Check engine oil pressure.If the engine oil pressure is normal and a warning message is displayed on the monitor, the engine oil pressure switch could be faulty. Check the condition of the harness between the engine and the monitor. Refer to the service manual for your machine if needed.If the engine oil pressure is low and a warning message is not displayed on the monitor, replace the engine oil pressure switch.
If the harness connector has been connected correctly, disconnect the harness connector for the engine oil pressure switch. Connect the 190-0152 Test Harness with the disconnected harness connector. Refer to Illustration 1.If the warning message has been displayed on the monitor and the oil pressure switch is working, check the condition of the harness between the engine and the monitor. Refer to the service manual for your machine.If the warning message has not been displayed on the monitor, replace the engine oil pressure switch.

If the engine oil level is incorrect
Stop the engine and fill the engine to the correct oil level.
Check to see if the warning message has been redisplayed on the monitor.
If the warning message is not displayed on the monitor, then there is no problem.
If the warning message is displayed on the monitor, go to step 1.a if the engine oil level is correct.
If the engine oil pressure warning message has not been displayed, stop the engine and check the engine oil level.
If the engine oil level is low, add engine oil.
Check if the warning message is displayed on the monitor by operating the front linkage.
If the engine oil pressure warning has not been displayed, the engine oil pressure switch is fine.
If the oil pressure switch warning has displayed on the monitor, go to step 1.a if the engine oil level is correct.
