PULLEY-FAN 2273811 - Caterpillar

Lower the bucket to the ground before any service work is done. Release oil pressure in the hydraulic system before any hydraulic hoses are removed or disconnected.
(1) Drill two holes .67"Ø (17Ø) in support (1) and two holes .54"Ø (13.8Ø) in angle (2) to the dimensions shown. (2) Install 4V5986 Bracket (3) to support (1) with two bolts, nuts and washers. Install 4V5985 Bracket (4) to angle (2) and bracket (3) with four bolts, nuts and washers. Do not tighten the bolts at this time. (3) Remove tube (5). (4) Make a modification to the main control valve. Remove plug (6) from the main control valve. Remove spring (7) and relief valve (8). Install 9S8006 Plug (9) and 2M9780 Seal. Install 8J4645 Plug (10) and 7M8485 Seal. (5) Install 3G3279 Valve (11) to bracket (3) with three bolts, washers and locknuts, but do not tighten. (6) Install 4V6007 or 5V2426 Tube (12) (see note page one) between valve (11) and tube (13) with seals, eight bolts and washers and two former flanges. (7) Install 307950 Elbow (14) and seal to valve (11). (8) Install 4V6008 Tube (15) and two seals between valve (11) and the main control valve with eight bolts and washers. (9) Disconnect each end of tube (16) and tube (17); remove elbow (18). (10) Install 6M6853 Tee (19) and the seal; connect tube (17) to tee (19) and connect the opposite end of tube (17). (11) Install 3R9704 Elbow (20) to tee (19); install tube (16). (12) Install 4V6006 Tube (21) between elbows (20) and (14). (13) Disconnect tube (22) and remove connector (23). (14) Install 307959 Tee (24) and the seal; connect tube (22) to tee (24). (15) Install 307948 Elbow (25) and the seal to 9J387 Valve (26) and fasten valve (26) to bracket (3) with three bolts and locknuts. (16) Connect 332159 Hose (27) between tee (24) and elbow (25). (17) Install 2R6806 Connector (28) and the seal in valve (11). (18) Install 307947 Elbow (29) and the seal in valve (26). (19) Install 4V5965 Tube (30) between connector (28) and elbow (29). Tighten all the mounting bolts on the brackets and valves; tighten all the nuts and bolts that fasten the oil lines. (20) Install 307947 Elbow (31), 9S4191 Plug (32) and the seals to valve (26); connect 9D5856 Hose (33) to elbow (31). (21) Disconnect hose (34) and remove elbow (35); install 2P7211 Tee (36) and the seal. Connect hoses (33) and (34) to tee (36).Fill the hydraulic tank; check for leaks and correct operation of the machine.
