793C (4AR) TrucksDescription of Change: A new Electronic Control Group (OHT EPTC II) with the following changes is available: 1. The machine ground speed parameter used by -VIMS to drive the speedometer and various VIMS warnings/events has been modified. The actual speed value is now heavily filtered when the machine is in neutral. This was done to help prevent speedometer flicker and parking brake warnings while idling in neutral.2. The Top Gear setting has been reduced from fourth to third gear. Allowing machines to operate at a slower pace.3. Improved diagnostics are included to reduce logging of false events.4. The 793C hoist lever detent position operation has been improved to prevent the bed from raising after the hoist lever is returned to the hold position.5. A new machine harness code has been added to support 793B's that have been retrofitted with 793C (4GX) transmissions.6. Improved 793C hoist lever operation from the float-to-raise position to generate better hydraulic response when the hoist lever is moved to the raised position. 7. Improved 793C reverse neutralization with lever in the power down position while body is up.8. Improved 793C hoist logic to allow lowering of the body with a dead engine.Adaptable To: The new 146-5821 Electronic Control Group (OHT EPTC- II) directly replaces the former 138-7387 Electronic Control Group (OHT EPTC- II). The new 146-5821 Electronic Control Group (OHT EPTC -II) is effective with 769D (5TR00650), 771D (6JR00169), 773D (7ER00517), 775D (6KR00174), 777D (3PR00526), 793C (4AR00236) Trucks and is adaptable to all earlier machines.
