Description of Change: An improved drain tube assembly is now used for the oil return tube on the engine turbocharger for the above listed engines. This improved drain tube assembly will provide additional clearance around the tube in order to improve routing of the tube. This will also minimize interferences to the oil drain tube assembly. This improvement will improve the durability and serviceability of this drain tube assembly.Adaptable To:

(1) Drain tube assemblyAn improved 230-3828 Drain Tube As (1) is now used for the oil drain tube on the engine turbocharger that returns the lubrication oil to the engine. This improved drain tube assembly is effective with (S/N: KCA06287-UP; KCB40882-UP). Also, an improved 230-3824 Drain Tube As (1) is now used for the oil drain tube on the engine turbocharger that returns the lubrication oil to the engine. This improved drain tube assembly is effective with (S/N: KCA05600-UP; KCB33350-UP). The new bracket is also available for both Drain Tube As as service replacement to first production.
