Disconnect hose assemblies (19), remove bolts (21) and retainers (20).

Right-Hand Side of the Machine.
Attach Tooling (F) and a suitable lifting device to the upper link assembly. The suitable lifting device must secure the upper link assembly to the hitch assembly.
Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (G). Attach Tooling (G) to pin (23). The combined weight of Tooling (G) and pin (23) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb). Remove pin (23) and thrust washers (22).

Attach a suitable lifting device to Tooling (G). Attach Tooling (G) to pin (25). The combined weight of pin (25) and Tooling (G) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb). Remove pin (25) and thrust washers (24).

Attach a suitable lifting device to upper link assembly (26). The weight of upper link assembly (26) is approximately 110 kg (240 lb). Remove Tooling (F) and the suitable lifting device. Remove upper link assembly (26).

Use two people to remove fender (27). The weight of fender (27) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove fender (27).

Use two people to remove shield assembly (28). The weight of shield assembly (28) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Remove shield assembly (28).

Install a suitable lifting device and Tooling (H) to load cylinder (29). The weight of load cylinder (29) is approximately 72 kg (159 lb).
Install a suitable lifting device to Tooling (G). Install Tooling (G) to lower pin (31) (not shown). The weight of pin (31) and Tooling (G) is approximately 60 kg (130 lb). Remove lower pin (31) . Remove thrust washer (30). Remove load cylinder (29).Installation Procedure

Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

Lubricate the threads of locknut (1), the piston face, and the rod shoulder prior to assembly with lubricant oil. Tighten locknut (1) to a torque of 2500 250 N m (1844 184 lb ft).
Lubricate the sealing lip of buffer seal (2) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Lubricate the sealing lip of U-cup seal (3) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Lubricate the sealing lip of wiper seal (4) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Apply Tooling (K) to setscrews (5) prior to assembly.
Apply Tooling (J) to retainer (6) prior to assembly. Tighten retainer (6) to a torque of 35 6 N m (26 4 lb ft).
Tighten bolts (7) when the rod is fully extended.
