Removal Procedure
Open the engine access door on the right side of the machine. Remove the engine access panel on the right side of the machine.
Turn the disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Cut cable strap (4). Disconnect wire assemblies (1) and (3) from alternator (2) .

Loosen bolt (8) .
Loosen nut (6) on adjustment rod (5) .
Remove belts (9) from alternator (2) .
Remove bolt (7) .

Disconnect wire assembly (10) .
Remove bolt (7), guard (11) and alternator (2) .Installation Procedure

Position alternator (2) and guard (11) .
Install bolts (7) and (8), but do not tighten bolts (7) and (8) .
Connect wire assembly (10) .
Install belts (9) .
Tighten bolt (7) .
Tighten nut (6) on adjustment rod (5) .
Tighten bolt (8) .

Connect wire assemblies (1) and (3). Install a new cable strap (4) .
Install the engine access panel on the right side of the machine. Close the engine access door on the right side of the machine.
