Hot oil and components can cause personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or components to contact the skin. Be sure that the engine and components are cool enough to touch with your bare hand prior to performing any service work.
1. Remove O-ring plug (2) from hydraulic oil filter housing (1) and drain in a suitable container. Remove the O-ring seal from O-ring plug (2). 2. Using a wrench, remove hydraulic oil filter housing (1) from hydraulic oil filter base (3). 3. Remove filter element (4) from hydraulic oil filter housing (1). 4. Remove O-ring seal (5) from hydraulic oil filter housing (1). The following steps are for the installation of the hydraulic oil filter.5. Make sure all components of the hydraulic oil filter are clean of dirt and foreign material prior to installation.6. Check all O-ring seals and components for wear or damage, and replace if necessary.7. Prior to installation, lubricate the O-ring seal lightly with lubricant being sealed. 8. Install O-ring seal (5) to hydraulic oil filter housing (1). 9. Install filter element (4) to hydraulic oil filter housing (1). 10. Using a wrench, install hydraulic oil filter housing (1) to hydraulic oil filter base (3). 11. Install O-ring plug (2) to hydraulic oil filter housing (1).12. Check the fluid level of the hydraulic tank.
