Use the ET to calibrate the decelerator pedal sensor. Calibration is required in the following situations:
The decelerator pedal sensor is replaced or the decelerator pedal sensor is serviced.
The machine ECM is replaced or the ECM is removed for service.The ECM must detect the following conditions before starting the calibration procedure:
The parking brake is engaged.
The engine is running and set to high idle.
There are No Active Diagnostics.If any of these conditions are not met during the calibration, the procedure is aborted immediately.Use the ET in order to calibrate the decelerator pedal sensor. Select Service from the main menu. Then, select "CALIBRATION" from the drop-down menu. Select the decelerator pedal sensor from the selection menu. Follow the instructions that are provided. See Testing and Adjusting, "Cable (Deceleration Pedal) - adjust".
