Removal Procedure
Start By:
Install the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".

Release rubber latch (1) from each side of hood (2) .

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to hood (2). The weight of hood (2) is approximately 55 kg (121 lb).
Disconnect gas spring assembly (3) from hood (2) .
Raise the hood to a vertical position.
Remove pin (4) from each side of hood (1) .
Remove hood (1) from the machine.Installation Procedure

Attach a hoist and a suitable lifting device to hood (2). The weight of hood (2) is approximately 55 kg (121 lb).
Align hood (2) with the hinges. Install pin (4) to each side of hood (2) .
Connect gas spring assembly (3) to hood (2) .

Lower hood (2). Secure rubber latch (1) on each side of hood (2) .End By: Remove the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Remove and Install".
