Large Engine Control Panel II (LECP II)
The control panel provides control, monitoring, alarm, protection, and communication for the engine or generator set.The control panel is the primary user interface for the engine or generator set. The control panel communicates with the engine and generator and provides connection points for the dealer to add sensors. This panel is also the central communication point between the engine or generator set and the rest of the ship. The control panel communicates with remote panels on the bridge or in the Machinery Control Center and with the SCADA system if present.Engine Control

Large Engine Control Panel II (LECP II)
Digital Control Unit (DCU 210E) (1) - The DCU is the main user interface. The DCU displays engine and generator data, such as oil pressure and coolant temperature, on the main screen. The DCU also shows alarms in the alarm list and can be configured from the menu.
Home ButtonHome Button (2) - A short press of the home button shows the main screen (gauges). A long press of this button shows the menu with settings and help options.
Alarm List ButtonAlarm List Button (3) - Shows or hides the alarm list. If the Alarm list is already on the screen and the buzzer is active, this button will silence the buzzer instead.
Start ButtonStart Button (4) - This button starts the engine. Depending on the configuration, the button may have to be held down until the engine reaches running speed.
Stop ButtonStop Button (5) - This button stops the engine. Depending on the configuration, the button may have to be held down until the engine fully stops.

RemoteEngine Control Switch (ECS) (6) - The engine control switch (ECS) has three positions. The "OFF" position is on the left. This position turns off the key switch to the DCU and ECM. The "Local" position is located in the middle. In this position, only the local control panel can start or stop the engine. The local throttle is enabled. The "Remote" position is on the right. This position disables local starting or stopping of the engine. Remote control is enabled. Local E-Stop and crank override still work in this position.
