   The engine has two of the 242-3864 Springs. One spring is for the oil filter bypass valve and the other spring is for the oil cooler bypass valve.Note: Engines that are equipped with a remote oil filter base require three 242-3864 Springs .The former 9L-9188 Spring has not been cancelled. The 9L-9188 Spring is still available for parts service in other applications of this spring.
