1. Remove bolts (1), and remove heat shield (2).2. Remove nuts (3), washers, and the spacers for the heat shield. Remove exhaust manifold (4) and the gaskets. The following steps are for the installation of the exhaust manifold.3. If any of the studs in the cylinder head are loose or need to be replaced, apply 5P3931 Anti Seize Compound to the threads and tighten them to a torque of 25 4 N m (20 3 lb.ft.).4. Install new gaskets on exhaust manifold (4) and apply 5P3931 Anti Seize Compound to the threads on the studs.5. Position the exhaust manifold and the heat shield spacers. Install nuts (3), washers, and heat shield (2), and tighten the nuts to a torque of 45 4 N m (35 3 lb.ft.).6. Install the muffler.End By:a. install fuel injection linesb. install turbocharger
