Left pedal position sensor (1)
Left pedal position sensor (1) is located in the cab in the left brake pedal assembly. The position sensor (left brake pedal) sends an input to the transmission ECM. The sensor continuously generates a PM signal. The duty cycle varies in proportion to the position of the left brake pedal position sensor. The left pedal position sends a change in the input signal to the transmission ECM. The ECM measures the duty cycle in order to determine the position of the pedal for downshifting the transmission and neutralizing the direction clutch. The transmission is in neutral when all FNR switches are in Neutral position. The transmission is locked into Neutral when :
Actual Gear is Neutral
Ground speed is zero
Left armrest stowed
Left armrest DOWN and steering is not alignedTransmission is allowed to shift out of Neutral when:
All FNR switches are in neutral then one switch transitions to FORWARD or REVERSE
Left armrest down with operator not present or steering enabled
Parking brake released only required when going into first gear

Transmission neutralizer override switch (2)
The transmission neutralizer override switch (2) allows the operator to change or disable the mode of the transmission neutralizer. The system will remember your transmission mode at the next start-up cycle. The transmission neutralizer override switch is located on a panel to the right of the operators seat. The transmission neutralizer override switch is activated by depressing the symbol. When a switch has been depressed, an LED next to the switch will be illuminated informing the operator that the switch is active.Note: The default status of the transmission neutralizer is active.

Indicator light D is present, but not used for this keypad button.
Press the transmission neutralizer button in order to set the transmission neutralizer to the desired mode. If the neutralizer is set to the disabled setting, the Transmission Neutralizer Disabled light in the dash will be illuminated. Depressing the left service brake pedal will not neutralize the transmission. When the operator presses the Neutralizer Disable button on the keypad, the feature will cycle through the available states. The lights will illuminate as follows:
Disabled - no lights
Level Operation - C
Moderate Slope Operation - B, C
Aggressive Slope Operation - A, B, C

(3) Alert indicator for the transmission neutralizer override function The alert indicator (3) for the transmission neutralizer override function is located on the monitor. The alert indicator is on when the neutralizer is disabled. When the neutralizer is active, the alert indicator will be off.Note: Disabling the neutralizer could cause increased brake wear in certain applications.
