See the article that follows.Description of Change: New air compressor groups are used for all engines that are listed above. The changes require steel braided hose and new fittings that will add improved life and reliability to the parts.Adaptable To: The 240-4861 Air Lines Gp and 240-4862 Air Compressor Lines Gp were changed at change level 11. The old parts and the new parts for 240-4861 Air Lines Gp are listed in table 1. The old parts and the new parts for 240-4862 Air Compressor Lines Gp are listed in table 2. The change was made in order to add fittings and a flexible steel braided hose between the air chamber and the inlet port of the air compressor. When the air compressor is replaced or the tube is damaged exchange the tube and fittings with the new parts.Note: A new remanufactured air compressor is now used. The 0R-1624 Air Compressor Gp has been replaced by 10R-9375 Air Compressor Gp. The 10R-9375 Air Compressor Gp is the same air compressor as the 0R-1624 Air Compressor Gp, but the air compressor requires a flexible braided hose and new fittings in order to replace the inlet tube between the air chamber and the inlet port of the air compressor. The change will improve life and reliability of the compressor.
