Note: Use the alignment marks across the cartridge for installation purposes. Note the direction of the arrows at (X) and (Y) . The arrows indicate the direction of rotation for the pump.
Install inlet plate (28) to cartridge (23) . Install two bolts (27) to inlet plate (28) .

Install O-ring seal (26) , backup ring (25) and ring (24) to cartridge (23) .

Install cartridge (23) and O-ring seal (22) to body (21) .

Install cover (20) to body (21) . Install four bolts (19) to cover (20) . Torque the bolts to 203 14 N m (150 10 lb ft) .

Install two oil retainer seals (18) to outlet plate (17) .

Install flex plate (14) to outlet plate (17) . The bronze face of the flex plate must be facing toward the rotor.

Note: The vanes must be installed so that the leading edge is facing toward the direction of travel.
Install rotor (15) and vanes (16) to flex plate (14) .

Install ring (13) to flex plate (14) .

Install flex plate (12) to ring (13) . The bronze face of the flex plate must be facing toward the rotor.

Install cartridge (5) to cover (2) . Install O-ring seal (4) to cover (2) .

Install cover (2) to pump body (3) . Install four bolts (1) to cover (2) . Torque the bolts to 95 7 N m (70 5 lb ft) .End By: Install the vane pump (elevator). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Vane Pump (Elevator) - Install". The information is in this manual.
