1. Make sure the bucket is flat on the floor and all hydraulic pressure is released. Fasten a hoist to the bucket. 2. Remove bolts (4) that hold upper hinge pins (3) to the bucket. Remove upper hinge pins (3) and plates (1) and lower link assemblies (2) on the lift arms. 3. Remove the bolts and nuts that hold the lower hinge pins in place. Install tooling (A) and fasten a hoist. Remove the lower hinge pins. 4. Slide bucket (5) forward and remove the washers between the bucket and the lift arms. Remove bucket (5). The weight is 374 Kg (820 lb.). The following steps are for installation of the bucket.5. Make sure the bores in the ends of the lift arms, link assemblies and bucket are clean. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Grease in the bores for the pins.6. Fasten a hoist and put bucket (5) in position. 7. Use the same amount of washers (8) on the inside of each side of lift arms (9), as needed, to put the lift arms in the center of the bucket assembly. When the lift arms are in the center of the bucket assembly, use washers (7) as needed on the outside of each side of the lift arms.8. Put washers (7) and (8) in position. Use tool (B) and install lower hinge pins (6). Make an alignment of the hole in the lower hinge pins with the hole in the bucket assembly. Install the bolts and nuts that hold the pin in place.9. Put link assemblies (2) in position in the bucket assembly. Put plates (1) in position as needed to put link assemblies (2) in the center position on the bucket assembly. Install upper hinge pins (3). Install the bolts (4) that hold the upper hinge pins in place.10. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Grease in the fittings for the upper and lower hinge pins.
