Check the electrical connection. The 172-5305 Level Sender requires a DT connector.
Remove the 8Y-5169 Fuel Level Sender .
Install the following parts: the two 8T-8730 Connector Sockets, the 155-2269 Connector Plug and 155-2261 Plug Lock Wedge on the wire harness. The 155-2270 Connecting Plug Kit contain the 155-2269 Connector Plug and the 155-2261 Plug Lock Wedge .
Apply a bead of 1U-8846 Sealant to the tank.Note: The mounting surface of the fuel sender must be free of oil and grease.
Install the 172-5305 Level Sender .Calibration Information
